the best days,

let it happen
Just you, as you are, with space to move, laugh, connect, and forget about the camera.
With a documentary lifestyle approach, sessions are relaxed and unforced, leaving room for the little moments to happen naturally. The genuine smiles, quiet glances, messy hair, warm hugs, and everything in between.
Because years from now, it’s often the smallest details you’ll want to remember — and have framed.
Every milestone worth keeping, and the ordinary days between them. Choose where to begin.

hello, I'm Ahlam
I laugh too loudly at weddings. I cry at the speeches — every single time, without fail. And I have never once managed to stay out of a kitchen where something good is happening.
This is the job I wanted, and I still cannot quite believe I get to do it. People let me into the best days of their lives, and the ordinary ones too — a Tuesday morning with a new baby, a grandmother's hands, a child who will not sit still for anybody. I have prayed with a mother on her way into the delivery room, and been there when her baby arrived. You do not forget being trusted like that.
The part nobody warned me about is how many of you I would end up keeping. Clients turn into friends here more often than not. I photograph a wedding, then a first baby, then a second. I get sent holiday photographs. I get invited to things. It is easily the best part of the whole business.
So if we work together, expect someone who is genuinely delighted to be there — because I will be.

the frames worth keeping are the ones nobody planned — someone laughing at the wrong moment, a grandmother’s hand, a child who would not sit still.
Where I work
Bahrain is home, and most of my work happens here. Knowing the island well means knowing where the light falls beautifully, which places come alive at different hours, and how to make the most of our time together — without figuring it all out on the day.
But I’m always happy to travel. Whether it’s a wedding, a family gathering, a quiet holiday, or simply a place that means something to you — wherever the story takes you, just ask.
or, if you'd rather talk
Some things are easier said than typed. Ask me anything at all on WhatsApp — the venue you're not sure about, whether I'm free the week after, what a morning with me is actually like.
